I'm a finance executive with 25+ years building operations across the United States and Europe—from Vanguard to BlackRock to Luxembourg-based multinationals. I bring CFO-level expertise to mid-market companies, family offices, and private equity portfolio firms.

THE STORY
How a Tampa native built a finance career across two continents
I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia where I earned my college degree and started my finance career at Vanguard in the late 1980s. Those early years taught me something crucial: great finance leadership isn't built on spreadsheets—it's built on systems, processes, and people. Working in Vanguard's operations, I learned to never lose sight that everything you do is done in service to the client, the discipline of precision, and the importance of getting the details right when billions of dollars are on the line.
In 2001, I took a leap that changed everything. I moved to Luxembourg to serve as Managing Director for Aegon Transamerica establishing their offshore finance division—an operation spanning 12 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Luxembourg taught me what it really means to operate internationally: navigating IFRS, managing cross-border teams, working in multiple languages, understanding European business culture. I became fluent in Portuguese, obtained EU citizenship, and built a life in Europe.
Over the next 15 years, after relocating to Tampa, I built my career across some of the world's leading financial institutions—BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, Aegon Transamerica. Each role added new layers: complex fund structures, regulatory compliance, team leadership, ERP implementations. I moved from analyst to manager to director to VP, always focused on building operations that could scale.
Today, I work with mid-market companies, private equity portfolio firms, and family offices that need sophisticated finance leadership.
